Nic is OLD and YOUNG
I was meeting with a few friends and Friday night for supper. We haven't been meeting each other for quite some time because of school. When they saw me, they were like "Nicholas! You look so pale and much thinner." I know it's no good but there's nothing I can do but to live on with little sleep and having to skip meals daily. I hope I will regain myself during the holiday. I hope to go on to a holiday.

Sometimes, my friends found me old. I kept forgetting things like homework and things that I had said. I tend to be blur and I am so tired that my whole body is aching when I reached yesterday night. Hmmm, here's the itinerary for yesterday-
I woke up after 4 hours of sleep to reach the NEL station at around 9am. Harbourfront is our first stop to do survey for our HCD project. The people were not very nice. Very few would really like to take their time for the survey. Next, we meet another two group members at Douby Ghout station to do a few more surveys before going for lunch at Cathay Cineleisure.


After lunch, we went to a workshop at iSHOP by Club21 at level 3. It was fun. The workshop is in conjunction with an iPod skin design compeitition by a group of NUS students. Through the three hours, we learn some things but the air con is freezing cold. When we were leaving the shop, we saw Jack Neo entering the shop. He then went to the iSHOP's cafe and had a mini meeting with some people. While leaving Cineleisure, we also saw Project Superstar's winner Zhiyang. He ain't a good looker and there don't seen to be much people noticing him.

Next, I then went to Takashimaya and Paragon to shop while waiting for my friend who was on his way to meet me. Shopping has never been so fun because it's the GREAT SINGAPORE SALES! You definitely cannot miss out those sales some many brands. Perhaps it is only the starting of GSS, there are some shops with no sales. However, business is so good for those shops with sales.

When my friend arrived, we went watching X-men III at Cineleisure. Although I am not a fan of X-men, I think that the movie is not quite bad. I love the magic that each character has and seeing how they fight using it. Next I went to the basement of Takashimaya where they sell many toys at the event hall. I was so so so happy and bought myself a Mickey Mouse and an Astro Boy. For that moment, I thought I was a KID having to squeeze my way through the crowd in search for my favourite toys. You see my friends, I am not that OLD after all. Only young people buy toys de!

Supper was at McDonald's Bukit Batok interchange.

It is over, No! It's only the beginning

It's a few weeks of busy busy busy and sleepless nights. Sketches were criticised, rejected and modified. Finally we hand them all in last Friday. Is it all over? Of course not! This is only the starting. Haha! So many more projects are still to come. Look at Daryl looking so weak and restless. He was sick. Haiyoyo...so weak, first assignment only sick.


Almost everyone in class burnt midnight oil just the day before the submittion. So many China panda bears as a result. Everyone just wish they could go home early to sleep.

Wonder how are we going to survive for the whole year? Hmm, will everyone age earlier with more wrinkles on their faces due to lack of sleep and being stress and pressured? Hmm, I don't know and I simply don't want to age so fast. Please wrinkles don't come hor. I not the oldest in class so you should attack the oldest. Heehee!

Yo JAZREEL!

Hi all, I am so so so busy these days that I found it hard to find time to blog. Today we all finally submit our VDS assignment one and although there are still a huge pile of workload waiting for us to complete, we sat down to celebrate the birthday of Jazreel and bye-bye to VDS assignment one.

It was a surprise for her. She was happy she was shocked, until....when her face was smashed with the birthday cake. She became more HAPPY and more SHOCKED. For me, I think that it is very scary. Lucky my birthday got no such things because I won't like being pranked.

Take me on a BREAK

I mean it really. I really need a break. Anyone please bring me. LAME? Not really. AssignmentS (scare you cannot see the S) are really killing us. Many classmates of mine didn't get to sleep well and eventually, they fall ill. It's time consuming, stressful and costly!

Talking about money, my money is spent on things that I am not willing to spent on. Some examples are the assignments' stuffs and eZlink/ezy link card. I don't understand why we need to pay additional $3 to unlock the card. We pay them additional $3 for them to press an unlock button on their system? And oh ya, I bought the one month concession. Guess what, it is not one month after all. I bought on the 5th of may and it will ends at 4th june ONLY. When I tap the card in the public bus the other day, I was pretty shock to see the word "free" use of something on the machine in the bus. What is FREE? It means we don't have to pay any money for it. But hey, I paid $52 for the concession and they still say it's free.

The class standard is very high. I have to work very hard to find myself to be in standard with them. All of them are very creative and each has their own unique style. And of course, you do see some copycats among them, copying people's idea and stuff. I am not pin pointing anyone but no matter what, I don't like people to copy my work. Guess I had better stop now and continue with my assignments. Ciaox!

School "Sweet" School

Hi all, it's yet another busy week in school. Everyone in class is busying doing up their assignments especially the one due next week. The teacher-in-charge has set the target too high that he never praise any work he saw till now. I definitely lose weight, being unable to sleep and eat well and have to work work work. What a BAD start from the year in school. Simply cannot imagine life in a few month's time.


One of my favourite lecturer is Miss Huei from the drawing studio. She is patient and nice. However, drawing studio is the lesson that I afraid most. This is because I cannot really draw and a lot of people in class can draw very well.


After drawing the things placed in the centre of the class, we have to spray fixatine onto our drawing. Each time, I fail to spray the fixatine myself because it is smelly and highly flammable. Luckily I have the two classmates above to do that for me. Hee!


Tada! Then your master piece will become a real masterpiece.


Still remember her?! That BLUR Ziyi!!! She is sitting right in front of me for tutorial for HTML lesson. Guess what, she couldn't follow the lecturer. Everyone in class were following closely to the lecturer's screen but she alone is slowly doing the programme following the book. She claim that the lecturer speaks too fast and she couldn't catch up. Haix. When I meet her at the second week of school, she told me that she had only four tops to wear to school. She said that the rest of her tops are too revealing. But this week, she bought some new tops>


Finally I don't have to see her wearing the same top every four days liao.


I went to the first dancing lesson of the CCA yesterday. It was fun. Although it's only for an hour, it's very tiring. We were learning Cha Cha and were all laughing at each other. Don't you think Cha Cha is easy. It's damm difficult. I didn't really managed to follow and a few seniors kept teaching me the same moves again and again. Finally, I got more and more mixed up and ended up terribly. Now I know I am bad at dancing. But I will definitely not give up.

Class Reunion Outing
Before I move on to the main topic, some updates about school. School work is getting tough despite it's only the third week of school. As there are no examinations for my course, all the assignment works are very important for our GPA. Currently, almost all the modules that I am taking have assignments to be done. Therefore, it's really stress stress stress.

For this whole week, I didn't get to eat well and sleep well, really. I wake up about 6 or 7 plus and only got home at around 7. Just last Friday, I handed up the assignment 1 for one of the modules and guess what, the teacher immediately announce the task for assignment 2.

For another module, we all got a critics session where each student has to present their assignment sketches in front of the class via powerpoint. I ended up being the only one in class which have to show the lecturer my sketches again. I was also told for not being serious because I am more like telling joke than presenting. Haix... I guess my quote in life- "Don't take life so seriously, have some fun and you will enjoy it" has to be changed.

Anyway, so what if I have so many many assignments to be done? I think that deSTRESS is very important. Therefore, I went out yesterday. I put all my stress and workload away so that I could enjoy.


At first, there are only three of us. I bought them to my hairstylist's newly open salon at Tanjong Pagar. After that, Jaslyn called Jianyong and ask if he wants to meet up after doing the hair and so, it ended up being a Class Reunion Outing.

The outing is for the 2006 4E2 Food and Nutrition students with Steffenie missing and Ryan as the extra. However, Joanne made an interesting discovery that Ryan and her has been classmates since Primary One. Although they are not in the same class now, they are both schooling at Singapore Poly.

Gary Cao Ge

Thanks Joanne so much for helping me get the tickets to see Gary Cao Ge. No I am not a fan of him but you know, it's a rare thing to have a superstar in school so why not?


This Malaysian borned singer is very ang mo because he had schooled in the states for a pretty long time. Despite being sick, he managed to sing up to standard. His vocal is really very good and cool. He can sing till very very high pitch. For a good-looking singer who sings so well, I'm pretty sure he can make it pretty big in the industry.

Live life in an interesting way

It is very uneasy to be in this position but it's fun! It's interesting! It unique! This is how we should live on. We must maximise the fun part of our life. It is not to be miss. But often, it is not always been that way.

I stopped clubbing few months ago. My clubbing mates, mostly busy with school or busy dating. I am not dating. I am currently in my room, relaxing after finish a project. Why am I listing down all this?

Basically because if I will to have a INTERESTING METER of my life, given a full mark equals 10, for my case, it will minus minus and minus and minus until zero. You turn to other people's blog, you see them blogging about the bright side of life, how happy they are, you admire them. All because you don't know the dark side. There again, if I tell you my life is so interesting. I am going to see Gary Cao Ge this thursday and Sun Ho's chinese album is releasing in a month's time, my INTERESTING METER will rise to 10!

I was out with two guy friends last weekend. Let's just call them A and B. A was going to play mahjong that very night. He has got to go to work the next day. A shared with us that someone approach him on the first day of school to voice out the feelings for him. B on the other hand, had dated with more than 6 partners. He also has to go to work the next day. He shared with us about someone he had just meet not long ago.

You see, their life seens so packed and interesting. They are surrounded by love and work and money. When asked what will I be doing the next day, I just tell them I will be staying at home to play Final Fantasy. So pathetic hor.

There again, put it this way- I am innocent. We were chatting about this girl that we all know (don't think you know her), until I got so !!! that she had had s*x with several partners. It is rather unbelievable.

For me, I have nothing about my love life to share with them. No someone special, no romance here and there, no experiences (do I have?) to share. Maybe there is, but some things are mend to be forgotten.

Life won't be interesting going to school and not bongtan each day. Life won't be interesting even if you join so many CCAs. Life won't be interesting, won't! won't! won't!...unless someone change it. That someone could be you. You can change your life. I am sharing this because some of you whose life may be more boring than me is reading this.

Remember Colin and Kero? They changed their life. They changed their life to be interesting. They don't care about how people sees them as long as they are happy. Singer Jocie Mei Mei's life won't be so interesting like now if she didn't try to change it. She joined compeititions, failed and join again and failed and join again and aha! Look at her today.

Hmm, I guess I gotta start planning for my next clubbing and KTV session. Oh ya, those people (you know who you are).....who so long no call me please do so! I don't like to sms or msn. Call me chit chat lah. Don't be lazy!
