SALES is hahaha
Great Singapore Sales might not arrive yet but however, there has been some Pre Great Singapore Sales going on lately. The shopping kings and queens, after being kept for a year, are so hungry that they won't give it a miss.
That day, Andrea zoomed zoomed us to town. The weather was unbearably hot and all the tai-tai(s) in the car have to put on sunglasses. Suddenly, Marc Jacobs sunglasses was spotted. Indeed high-class!
Before the private sale starts, the participating labels were closed. But just by looking through the glass door, there are rows and rows of great bargains. Looks promising huh? Don't drools man.
And at the end of the day, TADA! Everyone goes home with something.
I think I am the professional shopper. I get in fast and flip through the clothes fast, grab them fast and try them fast. Everything must be fast fast fast! And when everyone is queuing up for more than 30 minutes to try out the clothings, I am already queuing for the cashier. And while queuing at the cashier, you eyes must open big big cause you might just grab another something next to where you are standing.
That's reality, just pray that no one you know will be there to catch your kiasuness in action red handed. Apparently, my ex-colleague Amelia was there too. She saw me but because she was really looking like an aunty (kiasu in action), she decided not to call me in the end.

Today is Wednesday and I have no school. I am stuck at home and my internet connection is down for more than half of the day. I am damm bored and I kinda miss school already. I had rather be busy in school.
I know I should have gone for a jog but I only realised I wanted to jog after I finish a kettle of english tea. Nevertheless, I laid down comfortably on my bed and I think about the upcoming events-

I am so excited about them all! I am going to enjoy and have fun! You know the tagline: "Don't take life so seriously, have some fun and you will enjoy it."

As part of the entrepreneurship module, the two DCMD classes set up stalls outside the foodcourt last week to sell gifts for Mothers' Day.
My company sells flowers and cookies for the 3 days event and I must say business was really good. Same goes to the other groups! All made nett profit.
Hours and hours and hours of really hard work and time have been put into preparing and wrapping the flowers and cookies. Now we are the flowers expert already!
Only 1 table is given for each class and so all the teams have to squeese together. However, we helped each other and this creates the sense of camaraderie!

We all chong to Foodcourt 4 to eat the famous Thailand food. Admit it, the standard has dropped. You know, I kept eating and eating non stop these days. Eating 2 servings per day for lunch is chicken feed to me already. Some people don't eat when they are sad, but I eat to become happy and happier! It's especially shiok when I see my tummy big and hard nowadays. Haha!

Thanks everyone for the concern during my emotional insane period. DCMD's Next Top Model
Marvin and Ziyi took a leave from school last week to help us in a Fashion Shoot. It's my first time art directing an outdoor shoot and I am so excited about it. Outdoor shoots are unpredictable and tiring. But the result is very much different from that of indoor shoots.
Some behind the scene shots. In such shoots, make-up and preparation takes a very long time so it is always advisable to plan the time wisely. It is important to plan your shots, brief your models and do ample research before going out to shoot.
It was an enjoyable experience collaborating with my long time pal, Miss WeiWeiAnn
Check out the 2 sexy butts! This is what I meant by outdoor shoots being unpredictable. Poor thing model even has to help the director up the slope.

It seems taking the public transport may afterall be a better solution in Singapore.
When I was in Secondary 2, I had a dream of owning a car and drive the closest people of mine to many different places to have fun. I guess my dream have partially been fulfilled. Sexy butt is my regular customer. We all learned how to tear a coupon correctly and carefully now!
We actually went all the way to Punggol to eat Master Crab. The Punggol area people, ZJ and Lester were there too! The people were great, but as for the food...... not very delightful.

I remembered going for the school LOLLIPOP event at MOS one Friday night. Apparently such events will see lotsa young, innocent and youthful people. The queue was disgustingly long, long until Liang Court. Thank god the lecturers and staffs of the Design School were there and zoom!

It's about time to confess. A couple of people came to me about my hostile personality recently, maybe not recently but all along. For those of you who do not know,
people wonder... - why I don't say goodbye on phone, - why I become rude at times, - why my reply on MSN and SMSes are like that
and so on...
and YES! I am an impatient person, I talk fast and expect you to come straight to the point. I don't like it when you spend half an hour explaining to me about the same thing over and over again. I am feeling down especially when I am alone. I am pretty serious in the sense that I don't laugh easily at the jokes you find funny. And my reply on MSN and SMSes are short and not act cute. I prefer replying one word answer as I am lazy to type and prefer talking to typing. Therefore my answer may seem hostile but I am actually very happy and positive on the other side of the computer. In future, call me la, talking on phone prevents misunderstanding.
Imelda said something that I truly agree-Designers are weird and crazy in one way or another.How true is that? I think I am an abnormal person. Even I myself don't understand myself. I don't support hatred towards a person and I think we ought to accept one for who they are. Nobody can be the perfect someone.
But all right, I swear I shall change my hostile personality from today. But I won't go too far because it will end up becoming too fake. You on the other hand, make adjustments to that too.
To a certain extend, I am an attention seeker and I admit I blog to seek attention. The previous few post were rather emo and I shall not focus to much on emo topics already. There are many jovial things to share.
We went to my favourite NYDC for dinner and gossip talk after lesson on Tuesday. Actually the class has pretty strong sense of camaraderie apart from the CMYKs. Maybe you girls can join us more often next time, we will love that!
Let's see what else happened. Our infamous Sexy Butt! His bad habit of lazying around came back again right after school opens. But nevertheless, he still made it to my TOP 5 chart. How unfair is that huh?

Yesterday went MOS with my classmates. Stefany was gorgeous! I enjoy clubbing very much because it is the fastest and best way for me to release my stress and pressure in recent years. I tell you I am feeling so much better now after yesterday. Maybe its the only way for me to release stress. Clubbing number ONE!
High class image aside, being a lunatic is what we should in club, dancing with all your hearts out! I really had great fun! I love drinking too! It just makes you HIGH HIGH HIGH! Everyone is crazy there, even the gorgeous Stefany. It is a good form of exercise- you just sweat and the more you move, the more weight you will lost. And my butt is firmer now. So glad Yuan and Guozheng came, you peeps should join us more often! Saw senior Wanru and sec school Hanna there as well. Nightlife, so happening! Woohoo, Andrea, let's plan the next session soon!

Mr Catastrophe
I realised I can never be a happy person.
It's not that I don't want to, it's just hard. It's not within my control. I didn't want to choose to be depressed. Imagine I am only schooling now... what will happen when I go army? It's so going to be unbearable.
- Who on earth don't wish he or she is happy? Happiness is everything in life. - Are the people around you acquaintance or soulmates? Soulmates? I think otherwise. - Is there anyone you are completely 100% comfortable with? Trust me, nobody is perfect. - Do you see the future in you all? Don't be so sure, people are unpredictable.
I am in a state of not knowing what I am talking these days! Ignore me if you want. I need some time to adjust to "back to school" mood though.
I went to Cold Storage yesterday. Everything goes up! Hard Butter, used to be $1 to $2, now goes up to $4- mind you made in Malaysia. The instant noodles went up, cooking oil went up, rice too and many other dairy products all went up. In the news the Thai Rice went up to the highest ever... why is cost of living so high now?
In the past, your aunty bought her HDB flat costing less than 50K, as low as 10K to 20K. And now, your cousin, who just got married bought their new flat at 250K. It's a difference of 10 times!!! And mind you it's only a difference of one generation. Imagine... what will happen when you finally get married and want to buy a flat? You will live your life earning money to pay for your housing loans and installments.
This is CRAZY...

Für Elise
We all come together for Elise today. The name Elise is only one week old, reason is because we (actually me) came out with the name for WANG only last week, heehee! And as for "Fur Elise", it's actually my favourite piece from Beethoven.
Had fun at Mind's Cafe the whole afternoon. And while on the way to the cafe, I saw this Babe right outside the office of UOB building. She was with a big big birthday cake. We continued walking towards Boat Quay when a few school games stopped us for donations. We made some noise and got the Babe's attention. Suddenly the Babe called out my name. Guess what!
It's actually Stefany- our one and only beloved Chairman of our Grad Show in 2009! It never crossed my mind that the Babe I saw was someone I know. What a small world, she was there to celebrated her cousin birthday, and at Mind's Cafe too!

After figuring out that expensive watches don't suit me, I headed for my favourite HUGO scent and a PORTER bag. Wee! I'm sorry you can't see the bag clearly because it ain't in contrast with my shirt. Hahaha!

Internship
Everybody, give an applause for yourself. For the past 9 weeks, we have been working under our attached company and finally, its all over now. The courage, the pain, the hardship and the life-time experience that we had been through will stay with us for the rest of our lives.
You either feel happy and sad or sad and happy, it's mixed feelings. For such an emotional and sentimental person like me, I definitely feel sad in one way or another but there's an exception- maybe not this time.
I was attached to this small design house with brother cum slacker Cris. Through the 9 weeks, I get to experience working life and realized that such companies ain't my cup of tea. I will be better off working with a bigger and more professional company or rather international companies/MNCs. Sitting in front of the computer the whole day is just not what I enjoy doing, sorry about that- I love working with fun people.
That day, for those of you close friends who know which day I was talking about, I chose to remain silent. It is rare for me to do so because I will always rebuke on what I think is right and of justice. Remaining silent is hard and wrong, we should always stand up for our rights and not get ACCUSED and given a death sentence instantly.
For one thing, I will never do things that is against integrity, and those that will harm people.
Goodbye Amelia aka Joanna and Christopher, our beloved colleagues. And to Cris, thanks and thanks for everything that has happened during this 9 weeks. We are fated to be in this together. It's a total relieved to have you with me, especially when I am not so independent. I will never forget the times we have, whether it is sour sweet bitter or spicy, we've been through them all, through thin and thick.
And frankly speaking, Ajiteh sushi should issue me a privilege diner's card. Because ever since I started working, I've been going there almost every week. You see the proof-

And then on Saturday, Fourest Films casts and crews were playing mahjong together. I guess if I continue to play mahjong every week, I will get sick of it real soon. Blame it on my 三分钟热度 pattern.
Whenever I am sad, I will seek SOS from retail therapy or my idol. I was watching her Mr Bill Music Video, it was very impressive and very interesting. Sun had to act in it and I think she did a great job.

It seems "HAPPY"
I'm so relieved my holiday trip has finally been confirmed. I can't wait to getaway. I just want to leave, want to have a break, a break from here. I am so so so tired, I have no more endurance. I don't want to think so much any more, I don't want to bring any matters with me for the trip, I want to put everything here and escape with freedom, escape to a place to enjoy, nothing but enjoy! Sounds like haven to me now!
I love and appreciate these little little dinners I had with my friends after work each time. Stefany is nothing but hungry while Lester is nothing but tired.
Marvin is sexy butt, and he has a big big tummy. Vincent only love is Polo Tees and nothing else. Zhao is moving to Boon Lay (where Sophia is staying now) in a few years time.
When I came back from the SD camp on Saturday morning, I headed for my bed and slept till 5pm. When I woke up I felt really upsad because half of my weekend is gone already.
I told myself this is not going to be the way. Thus I was out the whole day on Sunday. I found myself wondering around at one part, then I was with Elise in Orchard, but at night I really had a good chat in the Eastern part of Singapore. After the restaurants closed, we went to the playground and chat till 2am! Its been a hundred years since I last sat on the swing, but it just make me sick, like vomiting. I'm old already!
I was telling my classmate about my current emotional status this afternoon. I feel terrible, I see water in my eyes. Many things are just not going smoothly for me these days. Work, friends and family you name it. I think it's a bit thick skin of me to admit, to admit that I think I am a very nice person, or at least I tried so hard to be one. I am, I really tried very hard! And for an attention seeker like me, I am lying if I tell you I didn't expect anything in return- I am always anticipating them.
For now, I don't see what's coming ahead of me, because I choose not to. I am guilty of having that FEAR in me. Yea, FEAR! I am weak.

I Love Weekends! Ever since I started working, I have been looking forward to weekends very very much. Weekends is like never before already, because I get to see all the beloved people in my life. So far, I have been enjoying my weekends and I hope you guys too!
KTV-ed with our seniors on Saturday. ZJ is the most 大牌 singer, she was most late, but because she is ZJ so nvm, haha! Anyway I was almost floating into Kenji's songs each time he sings. He's brilliant, I have seen so many people who can sing well, but on top of that, Kenji sings with emotions! The emotion segment is handled so well that some of you girls might tear at that moment. *Applause please*
Foxy forever so handsome, dye hair somemore you know (minus off that tummy)! Everyone *drool* please! Lester on the other hand, sit also cannot sit properly. Minus marks!
Girls in white are angels! The oldies duet songs that I know how to sing Valentia don't know how to sing, then those newbie duet songs she knows how to sing I don't know how to sing. Aiyo! After KTV, we headed to MINDS CAFE. Wow! Playing games can give me heart attack man. Next time, 995 please be on stand by.
Yogi Bear and Dino at APB's. They came over with Teh Terik Ice Cream from Island Creamery (Andrea worked there for one day before). Bravo choice of flavour, for a tea and coffee person like me, it's one flavour I would like. Aw, touched!
If Marvin is sexy butt, then sexy legs is none other than Dino! Had my weekly gym routine with Yogi Bear and GZ. I really put a lot of hard work in it and I swear I see results now, yes I do! Oh my god, I can be a HUNK soon!

Yesterday afternoon, I suddenly have the thought of pausing the time machine. I found happiness. How I wish everything could remain at that moment. My friends, my family and me. If I press play or even fast forward, I'm back to that fellow, that fellow who hates Monday and have to drag himself out of bed to go work everyday. If I could, I would have rewind and press play over and over again, how cool isn't it?
I know it's a childish thinking! But to think of that, everything is in my memory bank now. Good good memories that is going to stay with me as long as I can remember them.
We were with the gal clique from 01 on Good Friday. So enthusiastic, I like! Where a heck is the CMYK? They came out not for me, but to attend Dino's music concert at the Victoria Theatre.
Cam-whores! Marvin wants to be a model and takes model-ly pictures nowadays. Win liao lor.
Here's another one. But the bad news for him is he gained weight! Hahahahahahahaha, the amount of fats around his tummy and tights, hahahahahahahaha!
Our beloved star of the night! Kudos to people like Dino who can do music. I suck at that. My sense of rhythm can be a nightmare. After the concert, we had supper at Hooters before we spring towards the mrt station to catch the last train home.
Had Dim Sum at Geylang today morning with my relatives. Marco was there! Each time I see him, he is bigger by a little.
And this is Ivan! Our favourite action is hug hug. I love having meal like that with family and friends. It's one of the most enjoyable thing to do and I am very contented. Woah! What a sentimental new age guy I am!
GZ came over for gym and swimming at my place. It's great to see him getting fitter and fitter each time. But he needs to work harder on his tummy and hips more. I love to do exercise now because it burn off my fats and make me more hunkier.
Tomorrow is Monday Blues day! Hope it will pass by quickly and I anticipate towards Wednesday, where I am going to get myself something. Wednesday faster come!
Meanwhile, you must look at this. This song has been running round and round my head for the past few weeks. Zoe Tay astonishing white dress drools my heart away. She is very photogenic, in fact I feel that she is the most photogenic MediaCorp artiste in my chart. But she can't sing. And I feel that she ain't really as lucky as her fellow colleagues around that era. Fann Wong I am talking about, if you know what I mean. Did the then TCS actually have plans in making her big regionally. Just for your information, they successfully made Fann and even Phyllis Quek. Last I heard there are plans for Qi Yiwu and Joanne Peh. Can they make it big? We shall see.

Anguished Dear readers, have you ever feel uncool about yourself? Being yourself? Do you think that your actions are childish and unbearable? Or have you wondered why can't you have a little of what others have?
I don't know why but I get irritated with myself quite often recently. I am unhappy with myself...
for being so old and haggard before/during/after work, for getting jealous easily, for being greedy and selfish, for having such childish mindset for having this big tummy, for my poor communication skill with others, for expressing what I want to express, for being so rude to my parents, for thinking too much,
YES thinking too much, a.k.a TTM is the real "IN" thing nowadays. "EMO" is no longer popular like what it used to be. Am I trying too hard to be a perfectionist? Or am I too sensitive? But maybe I am right, I am really irritating and awful.
I no longer think going to work is a little fun. And I don't like to hear friends talk about work. Zhao made a good point, we came out together to enjoy and have a break from work, not to get ourselves more engrossed into it. I mean that's me, where is the life everyone?
I took a break from work today, to see a chinese physician regarding my knee (I hurt it while ice-skating weeks ago). I always sprained my ankle and stuff but never dare to step into the physician, but as time goes by, I heard stories about the after effects of it and got scare. I don't want to have problems with my legs when I am old my dear. I overcomed my courage, although it's painful and I was sweating like a pig, I know it's good for me.
Then at night I went to see a doctor regarding my cough. For your information, it's been ongoing for about three weeks now and I haven't recover. It was an normal clinic at AMK neighbourhood and it cost me a freaking S$40!!! Man I am just having cough, not going for body check-u or have chicken pox and I have to pay S$40!
Adding on to S$30 for the chinese physician earlier, I spent a total of S$70 today just on minor sickness. S$70 is my 3 and a half day of pay at work, more than half of a week's pay that is! Where is my dream of buying a watch and perfume after I get my pay end of this month???

You may be thinking that I am crazy, skinny yet still want to lose weight. It's not it, it's about staying healthy and maintaining the right weight. And the tummy is driving me crazy. You want to see my tummy then you believe is it? Those who have would know that it's true.
Going for KTV can let you lose weight! Simply sing a dance song and dance with it. Make sure you dance along by moving your hips and tummy, real hard that is. Move your legs, move your hands, then you turn around and say YAY!

Fatty Boom
Last weekend, the Malaysians were glueing their heads on the TV screen for the results of the election. At the federal level, the opposition increased its strength in Parliament from 19 to 82, leaving the National Front with a simple majority of 140 seats in the 222-member house. The result was indeed shocking.
Anyway, you know what you know what you know what? I have gained weight! Now that we are having our ITP, we can't help but to gain and gain weight. Because after having our meals, we sat down in front of the computer the whole day. Poor Sok, and poor Stefany. They've gained weight.
And if you don't believe I've gained weight, ask those people who have seen my tummy. It's really .................... no longer sexy, its urm a turned off. My bosses were suspecting that there are worms in my stomach because I eat a lot, a lot more than them during lunch and working hours.
Okie okie, let me BLOG-
After KTV session with Yogi Bear Louis on Saturday, darlings Dino and Vincent came over to my place to brokeback with me. But wait a minute, before that, I brought them to one of my favourite place for supper- AL AZHAR. Le FatherHEN is going to love this place man!
Immediately the following morning, we teleported to Jurong to ICE SKATE. Dino was the Care Bear, he made sure everyone wore their skates tight enough before he procced to put on his.
Shermin Ong first time seen in a footwear with heels! I know, very awkward right? That's right, I feel awkward too. Hi 5! But somehow I just can't tell what's wrong leh?
Woooooo! I am all ready to skate!
Everyone present helped me (except for SEXY BUTT MARVIN) because I faced a lot of difficulties while skating. Those international school kids are bad mouthing about my lousy skill. Soo bad!
After that, some came to my place to play. Ryan Tan then drove us to Holland for dinner. We had a great chat at this awesome bar with nice ambiance, service and good food and drinks at reasonable price.
On Monday, went to school for 2009 Grad Show Committee Meeting. On Tuesday, I was on Cloud 9although Cris didn't come to work again.
On Wednesday, I went to Temasek Polytechnic's Design School Graduation Show. It was really spectacular and I am totally impressed with the crowd it drew although it is held in their school's Convention. I went there with my boss, who was there to talent scout potential employees.
Afterwards, I joined Foxy and gang to view the Visual Design student's work followed by dinner and then over-night stay at Dino's place.
The weather is so cooling now and I will certainly feel guilty if I don't reward myself by sleeping soon. Therefore I'm OFF! Seeya.

BIRTH
My darling seniors 毕业了! After much anticipation, they held their graduation show at Vivo City last weekend...
Our darling lecturers became proud Mummies and Daddies. I am beginning to suspect LAU is expecting a twins, because his tummy is much bigger than the others.
My favourite segment of the whole event is the runway show. Imagine how many can get a chance in life to walk on the runway, and with your favourtie people. Nicholas Toh's reindeer inspired outfit shines the runway!
It's a for great time our people, which I call them my family, to catch with each others. My biggest surprise is to see our infamous ex-classmate, Sharon Choo and my favourite lecturer, Shang Shang who left us in pursue of her happiness.
Not to forget the one and only phenomenon MangMang, get ready to bang!

For The Record
Just this week, I conquered ... - Secret Recipe - Ma Maison - Crystal Jade - Swensons - Din Tai Feng - Jack's Place
... imagine the amount of fats I've accumulated each meal, and the more than SG$200 of GST and service charge paid.
Next week, I should avoid all these because I feel sinful for my tummy (it's big now!), and spend more on retail therapy. It will be great to catch a couple of movies too.
Needless to say, I GAIN-ed weight.
Yay! All my family, friends and relavtives who want me to gain weight will be so happy lo. Wow, I caused happiness to people.
For the first time, I have an urge to go sun-tanning- that is flaunting the sexy trunks, closer contact to my favourite SUN, and have the feeling that my skin is more firmer and in healthier colour. This is crazy! I am lazy, I have to work, I get headache easily when contact with the sun and I can actually get change and take the lift downstairs now to swim but I don't want. I want to sleep soon, cause Zzzzz monster has attacked.

A CNY Post Celebration?
Weee! It's weekend now but guess I'm not going to be happy for long. Monday blues have attcked! In 24 hours time, I will be sitting in my office waiting and counting the time to knock off. Haha! The feeling I have for working now is still not there yet. Maybe towards the end of the ITP i will?
The much anticipated Saturday is fun fun fun! First stop, a reunion with FOUREST FILMS casts and crews for a game of Mahjong at Vincent's. Vincent has a cute mum. He lives in Tampines and nowadays, I go to Tampines with a homely feeling even though it is so far away from my place. My darling bros stay there! Tampines, according to Wikipedia, is the largest residential estate in the city state of Singapore, the nation which will host the 1st ever Summer Youth Olympics in 2010.
I troubled Vincent to boil hot water for me so that I can drink a cup of Chinese tea. No choice, old man is like that one! Then I troubled him for face towel and soap to wash my face. The next thing you know, I will wanna rent a place at his home because his house is so much nearer to my workplace.
DCMD book of records- the smallest size girl in our cohort, Andrea, drove us from Tampines to our next location, Tiong Bahru. It was indeed a nerve-wrecking ride because we are not too familiar with the road. In the end, we made it to Tiong Bahru is 30 mins, that's incredible.
We played games and games and games (with $$$ involved). Vincent was especially WANG (lucky) when Zhao left. It was a bad start for both of them initially and I can imagine them singing Shermin Ong's favourite Pan Mei Chen's “我想要有个家，一个不需要多大的地方”.
Funny isn't it? Celebrating CNY when CNY has just over. Nevertheless, we still got hong baos! And I think I look stupid in this photo whereas DADA is the odd one out.
Although it's only less than a week after the announcement of Singapore for the Youth Olympics in 2010, I can already see how much this have affected all of us and how our economy will benefit from it. With the 2 IRs and the F1 night race coming to us later this year, I am all excited!
However, the cost of living definitely has gone up. Our government service tax of 7% and service charge by any F and B can make a big big different in our bill. And comes May, the number of COE being distributed will be reduced and thus, buying a car is more difficult and expensive in Singapore. Even the latest COE released few days ago have gone up already.
I am missing my darling friends and classmates as always. I hope my monday blues will be gone soon and hopefully forever. No worries, I will still stay sexy, smiling and sunny! Looking forward to the end of this week, where our seniors are going to held their grad show. It will be the best grad show ever. Goodbye!

Live To Dine Recently, there has been a huge hole in my pocket. Imagine not even getting my pay, yet I still spend so much. The culprit is non other than FOOD. But WHY? Because I have been busy socializing and we want to reward ourselves with good food after a long day of hard time at work.
There's one type of people I don't like to eat with- those who are greedy and don't give a damm about whether others have enough to eat. I have a relative who is like that, and I really really cannot stand her. She can eat all the abalone on the table. She can also drink beer, wine and baileys when she come visiting at my place during CNY. And when she was about to leave, she asked for a bottle of red wine to bring home. Of course there are many other occasions, in fact every time I eat with her, I feel so disgusted. YUCKS!
I don't wish this to be a "idontlikeyouyesyou.blogspot" number 2, so let's put those YUCKS things in the dustbin. You know, our camaraderie class met up for dinner on Monday night at Vivocity, the place where our seniors are going to hold their grad show.
So YUMMY!
Missing CMYK (very not enthusiastic), Aud, Sophia and Khai, who is in the States for ITP. It's so nice catching up with my love ones. I'm been sounding and feeling low during ITP these days so I was actually back to my HIGH when I met them.
On Tuesday, I met up with Yangyang for dinner at this high-class japanese restaurant. It's not my first time there but every time I go, I just can't get my eyes off the keys, which represents your table number. Yang said good things about me and I like people who say good things about me, and they are true of course. Shermin is on my top chart =)
This is my favourite corner in my office. We held meetings here. I feel that working life may eventually not be my cup of tea in future as I am looking for something more freedom and fun. Nevertheless, I enjoy working in my company for the time being although I think of all my love ones everyday, every minute and second.

I'm HERE with you Hi there, sorry for the lack of updates. I have not disappear and I still enjoy blogging, sharing with you about my life and controversial views. Hmmm later I'll be sharing with you about what had happened in sequence, starting from the earliest.
So how is CNY everybody? Although its getting quieter and quieter, it is still my favourite public holiday around the year. You get to spend time and catch up with your favourite friends and family. And to gamble! Haha, this year my Mahjong luck is better than that of Blackjack.

Guess who is she? Not Pan Mei Cheng la. We went to watch AH LONG PTE LTD on the 4th night of CNY. Most of us feel that the movie was quite disappointing and Fann wasn't really glam in it. Somehow I look forward to her upcoming english movie which was shot in Singapore. However, I cannot really understand what she is talking when I saw the trailer. Perhaps its because that movie is in English.
Sok Hwee gave me a piece from her new range of accessories. I am now a spokesperson for thebeadsplay. Check them out because she make great accessories at reasonable prices. Btw, how is street 19 coming along, AK?
11 Feb 2008 MON The following day was a MONDAY, a day of Monday blues where most of my coursemates and friends in school is starting their ITP (industry attachment/industry training programme). I am fortunate to have Cris to be working with me. My company is somewhere near the east and I have to wake up very early each day.
The first day was a little boring but nerve wrecking. My heart was beating real fast and cold sweat kept coming out. I always have this problem when I am in contact with new people. Mine is a small company with only 5 people including us. We eat lunch with the 2 bosses and another colleague everyday. For those of you who know that area, it is like a mini CHINA with so many shops selling country dishes from China. Not really my style of food but I have to adapt to that.
I really don't know how pitiful and lonely I am going to be if Cris is not there. It's fate, we actually brought the same cup to office! The bosses were very nice people. So far I've did 2 logos, a namecard and letterhead design and a newsletter with Cris. I also contributed ideas and a lot more (in fact very very much) projects will be coming up the following week. I hope we can get to do advertising in the near future.
Just a couple of thoughts, working is really very different from schooling. The ideas and layout of certain tasks has to be conservative or "old fashion". In school, we are judged on how creative and designer for example, a namecard can be. And everyone is seated a desk doing their work. I am the loud type who likes to walk around and talk loudly and interact around. So sitting down and behaving myself in a desk is a big big challenge for me.
I am glad with my ITP till now especially after hearing stories from my coursemates with their companies. Shing for example, only get to step out of the office at 10.30pm on the first day!!! So poor thing!
After work on the first day, I went to have dinner with my relatives and family to celebrate my Daddy's birthday. =)
14 Feb 2008 THUR Happy Belated V Day! LOVE is an amazing thing. LOVE is not just between couples but everyone... your friends, family and relatives. I love all people who love me!
Someone not free, so I spent the occasion with 2 other lonely singles, HAHA!
16 Feb 2008 SAT My fatty brother celebrated his birthday with a mini party at home.
He invited his close friends. Each year, his birthday cake is the most expensive cake I will eat. It's the ice cream cake from Swenson. If there's ever a abalone or bird nest cake, there goes a hole in the pocket for Mummy. They were just kids, making so much noises screaming and laughing in the room. But I am pretty surprised by the gifts his friends gave- Not cheap at all!
And because it was so noisy, I decided to go to town and have my DEE done. YES my DEE, again! The person that pissed me so badly, spoiling my mood these few days.
The culprit is my Mac. I call it DEE. It got me so bad that I stared at almost everyone I see when I was going to work that few days. And I get angry so easily that I can almost quarreled with those people I am not happy with in public, especially in the public transport.
Talking about the public transport, I am a very clever user of MRT now. When I use to take train to school before this, I always have difficulty squeezing into the train as it was forever packed in the morning. But now, I am Mr Kiasu already. I managed to squeeze into it each morning.
I hate to see all kinds of irritating people in the MRT-
(1) BO- People with BO are so inconsiderate. They should not get into the train. They should sit at the station for hours and hours until they see a train which is almost empty. Why must they squeeze in the very very packed train and let those people smell their BO. Already we are fighting for air to breath with so many people and they simply just reduce our chances of fighting for better air to breath! And to those who like to smell their armpit while gripping on to the top bar, can you just smell all your like at home?
(2) Pole- Some people dreamed to be a pole dancer, and love the pole so much. They like to lean their whole body on the pole. Why are they so selfish? When they do that, those old aunties and uncles who didn't have a sit will have a greater chance of falling down since they don't even have a pole to hold. If they really love the pole so much, go to the club and lean all you like, give up their poles in the MRT for the poor aunties and uncles.
(3) The so very KIASU- I am not pro aunties and uncles, because they can be quite irritating at times too. When the train arrives, they just ran into the train even without letting the alighting passengers to alight first. I know they are old, but that doesn't mean they can act as if their son owns that train. When there are many people squeezing and slowly going into the train, they sometimes like to push so very hard from behind so that they can get into the train before those in front. I wonder what if one day I am in bad mood and I push them back.
(4) Touchy touchy- Try not having body contact with people when the train is not packed. Hide your hands in the pocket when needed. I don't like it when I have contact with people who are smelly and sticky or some who rub their butt on you. Whether its on purpose or not, just try to prevent.
I shall stop complaining from here because I suddenly realised taking train in Singapore is much fortunate than taking train in other countries like China and India. The situation can be worse. Talking about India, I wonder how is Justin doing in India with his internship with Yahoo!India. Kinda worried, I mean I am very worried but all the best to him, lotsa misses!
Oh ya, after my DEE was done, had dinner with Des, Sherm and Lesta. We all missed those days at Terengganu. Please view them at the right of the blog, under archives.

恭喜恭喜 Wow! CNY is finally here. Where are you guys now? Heading home for your reunion dinner must be. CNY is my favourite holiday because its a time with everyone gets together and have fun. Not so much of the ANGBAOs, I am more interesting in wearing new clothes. Throughout the past few months, I have been roaming around town for clothes and finally I can get to wear them soon!
Singaporeans like to do last minute shopping. And many things are out of stock. I went to so many places to get a pair of Bonia for Mummy but the size is either sold out or left with the display set. After the reunion dinner on MON, I went out for another reunion dinner with my secondary school friends the following day. And our hobby is to take fashion shots right after we finished eating at any place.
Vincent Liew thinks that his hair is nicer than mine, and so does the confident Ryan.
After dinner at the same restaurant on MON, I went to meet Dino and friends for a while. Louis brought us to Orchard Tower for our virgin experience. It was an eye opening experience as we saw another side of Orchard Road. One was following us and many were eyeing on Marvin. So scary right? You tell me how can I not call it nerve wrecking?
Good thing we came out fine although Marvin was almost ^%&*%&*$&. Can't help it, there was a Hong Kong gay who keep looking at him on our way home too.
Talking about sex-related topic, I will like to make a few comments on the sex-pics saga in Hong Kong. Celebrities are human too, they have every right to do what they feel like doing under their own privacy. However it's those irritating people who spread the pictures. What good things will it bring to them? They ended up getting the opposite. I pity those celebrities who are involved in the incident. Edison Chen has apologized, it's our turn now to forget about it and move on.
Bear in mind, celebrities are only Human, just like you and ME.
I get many chances to drive these days and I have to admit I LOVE IT! Although I have a 三分钟热度 nature, I think I will not get tired of it soon.
Comes Monday, I have to start working for the attachment at an advertising agency. I don't really buy the idea of ITP because I am really missing everyone so much. To all Nicky's love out there, we must still continue to hang out and meet even after ITP started.

of taking photo
seriously, don't you think it's boring to take photos and tada, whatever that comes out is that same face and expression of yours. Now I truly understand why some celebrities don't like to take photos.
I think I want to take less photos for the time being.
Sawanee's favourite pastime is to sit on her rocking chair with her cat. Vincent loves fast food and sing Jay Chou songs. Nicky loves to socialize.
I replaced Jovan last friday for JAE and Jazreel on Monday for JAE again. It's a great experience because you get to meet many people who are so blur and don't know what course to choose. After talking to them, they decided to put my course as the first choice. WOOHOO!

Goodbye & Hello
Time flies and we are now approaching the end of the first month of the end. I am not talking to you with a different feeling, a different heart of a 19 year old. Let me see what has happened- I finally bought Tanya Chua's Goodbye & Hello album. I replace Jovan for JAE and met a Bukit View O-level junior. My dad finally let me drive his car, hurray! I can't laugh at the 19 year olds. I have officially said goodbye to year 2. My cousin got her O level results, a 30 for R4, SAD! I went swimming for the first time after 6 months. I still hate the cockroaches, long waiting hours & the always so packed SMRT buses!
I am missing everyone, with LOVE! I went clubbing...
with my classmates at Double O. It was disappointing. Many things especially the crowd was so much different from how it was like when I went there about half a year ago. The drinks are slighty cheaper.

Stefany's clubbing virgin night is not only for us, but her Allan as well. Allan is Mr Nice guy, without him we will have no good supper after clubbing. Without him, I won't know that the side mirrors when driving is the way to go.

I went KTV
This time, Dino let us have his virgin KTV session. He's cute, he said he was practicing 童话 from the class to the mrt, and from the toilet to KTV.
Our guest of honor for the KTV session brought us to her favourite 豆花 shop near Sophia (not Zhi Hao) Road. It was really delicious. Now we know where to go to find her in future.

The assignment is over and I really miss team MANGMANG. I will always remember how to pull it all through, the laugher we shared and the pain we had. I miss those overnight stays and the traveling from places to places. And MANGMANG won't be completed without Yuani, our very own POISON IVY who delicated her precious time for us since day 1. I love and miss you MANGMANG! PS- We still own each other $$$$.

Now that they've got their Internship placement, I am still upset because they are going to start work next week and they are not going to have time for me already! AHHHH!
Anyway Marvin, did I said I am giving you that ring? No right? So how dare you take and never want to return it to me? Let me tell you now- I am giving you that ring!

Weekend Shopping
Chinese New Year is coming in less than a month baby! Have you started to plan and prepare for it? If not then you better start soon because it is the most important festival of the year for the Chinese.
Nicky and friends went shopping for clothes yesterday.
While traveling to town, I was not surprised to be greeted by so many foreign workers in the MRT. They can be seated in the whole row and not give up their seats even when they see people who need the seat more. Those who are standing around you cannot be any better, they love to flaunt their armpits at you and hope you can smell something from there. You can stare at them by all means but most of them just ignore you.
I feel uneasy and totally insecure. The cabin is filled with smells I am unfamiliar with. And what if the next minute someone grabs my butt? Am I going to scream? Many parts in town is flooded by them. They like to hang outside shopping malls with their group of friends, chatting and laughing together.
It reminded me of last last Saturday when I was in Jurong Point with MangMang and LeChing. The number of foreign workers are so huge and they are almost everywhere. I gave up buying a drink from Value because of the queue. It is so so so long, longer than the Hello Kitty craze. Well maybe not.
I don't know how to explain to Steffenie when she comes back to Singapore. What will her reaction be? "This is my country, this is my life, this is my ....."
Although the journey to meet my friends in town is tough, but it's definitely worth while. Guess who we went to find? The HOT MAMA Jazreel Wee. Jazreel from CMYK is tough to be, she has to take care of her chicks and soon to be husband Marvin. She works and works and works and now she is a rich woman.
The after-effect of the MTV assignment is not over yet. The evil dark eye circles and the sleepiness Zzzzz monsters in us won't let us go.
For many occasions, we realised we wore the same colour combination when we meet up. Our FATE! The colour combination for the day is black and white.
We don't hate or dislike foreigners. When they are nice, we treat them the same way too.

Mang TV How's everyone? It's holiday now and I am so ready to WAHAHA! Last week was one of the most tensed week for the entire year 2. From Saturday to Tuesday, we were chonging for the MTV Valentine Campaign and hardly get to sleep. If I remember correctly, we only slept for an average of 3 hours daily. No kidding =)
Went to Sok's place, Mel's place, Yuan's place, my place then Sok's place again. Although it is so tiring, we do have fun sometimes.
SP's coverboy and his team LECHING were at my place together with my team on Monday. Their group was really fast and while my group was so far behind with so many other things to be completed.
When we are stress, our favourite past time is to cam-whore. With photo booth, neoprint don't mean a thing to us.
Managed to get the opportunity to work with Yuani. Although she's my junior, I treat her like my best friend and I learned a lot of things from her and we have weird similarities. For example, our liking for Jade and Leopard print. Thanks Yuan for your time and patience. We really appreciate it.
The night before, my group gathered at Sok's place to prepare for the presentation. Mel moulded our posters on the moulding board on the very morning of the presentation.
We reached MTV Asia at 9.15am after meeting up with Yuani. Immediately, we dressed her up and sat outside to wait for our turn. Melissa is all sat to be the medic in our presentation!
We stayed in MTV throughout the whole morning, having fun playing and chit chatting. Look at our lovely ZH and ZH, they seem to be enjoying themselves.

CUBE- MTV You've Got Mail
One of my favourite team, CUBE won the top prize! I am so happy for them. When their name was called out, I OMG like hell, as if I was the winner. Unlike the other teams, they are really unique and have very sweet and simple concept. Guozheng, nice Guardian uniform you have got there!
DUOS- MTV Love Upon A Time
The DUOS *missing ZIYI* won the second prize. Apparently Marvin is really fat (especially that butt) and his shirt is too small for him. He should have given that cute shirt to me man.
LOLLIPOP- MTV Affairs
LOLLIPOP, who have been MIA-ing for days are finalling here at the presentation to shine. Their environmental friendly concept won the hearts of the judges and got them the third prize. Congratulations
AFRO HEADS-MTV Ones You
The AFRO HEADS are these group of people who are really nice and helpful and are not afraid to share with us their concept right from the start. Look at the tired faces, wahahaa!
MANGMANG- MTV Love Rash
We are not the best in execution, but we are definitely the funniest in presentation. And we were quite surprised that we made it to the Top 5. Thanks MANGMANG for the hard work we've all put together for this assignment. Gonna miss working with you guys soon!
Since CUBE won the top prize and while MTV is deciding whether a not to use their campaign for Valentine's Day this year, let us give them more coverage on this international blogsite.

More about School
To be frank, I really don't like, I mean most of my classmates and I really don't like the execution of SP's advertisement. I rank it in one of the bottom among other polytechnic ads.
Poor Jon, he has got more better pictures than that! Weeks ago, I saw the SP ad on NP's main bus-stop. I hope he won't get kill if he will to go to NP one day!
And if you think Jon is charming and is love at first sight with him, I feel sorry for you. Apparently, he is taken by Sok. So if you want him, get rid of Sok first.
It's especially happening on the last day of school. We were in charge of the cheer leading team for Design School during the sports day and guess what! We WON! We won the Most Vibrant School award.
I remember how we were struggling with the short dateline to do the mascots, cheers, banners and posters for the sports day. We drove around with Lau to look for the stuffs needed. Yuani was the only year ONE in charge as their lecturer wants the rest of them to concentrate on their assignments during that period.
Although the year two have more than 3 assignments in hand at that point of time, a number of them stayed till late with the four of us to prepare everything that is needed. Without all of those who has contributed to the Sports Day, we couldn't have won. So THANK YOU!
This year ain't a good year for those borned in the year of Dragon. It's true! Many of my dragon mates have sway things happening to them these days. After losing his favourite pouch he bought form Bangkok, Nicky lost his favourite Rocky the following day. Rocky is so cute and adorable and no one will return to Nicky if they will to find it! Argh!
But hey hey, I am now the proud owner of 2 new monkeys from Vincent and Yuani. I seem to have too many monkey now, so stopping showering me with Monkeys already okie? Haha!
