An adventure in my room This message is written for my family members few days ago during midnight. This is all because a stupid insect is being murdered by the author in his room. This is how the adventure goes- I was using my com when I switched off the room's light leaving the television and the table light on. Suddenly, a bee-like insect flew towards my television at great speed giving an alarming sound.
Of course I was shocked and I quickly ran out of the room to ask the maid to come and get rid of it. Who knows after searching high and low, she couldn't find it. She left and logically I contiune with my work on the com. Then suddenly that very insect appeared again.
This time, I hid myself under the blanket and my handphone rang. It was Michelle! She immediately asked me to use a magazine to hit it. I did as told and all of a sudden, the insect is nowwhere to be seen and I presumed it was under the magazine.
Initially, I wanted to double check to make sure that the insect is under the magazine. So I just move a little and the body of it just come out of it. Being shocked, I immediately threw another magazine onto it and woo... all done. This also explains why I ended up with two magazines lying around in my room. (My apologies for the Barney and Tweety as they just coudn't resist the temptation to be seen on this world wide web.)
So now you finally understand the reason behind the note on the door of my room. I don't want anyone of my family to get shocked by the insect. And also, I realised that it is indeed scary because the wings are under the first magazine while the body is under the second magazine!
It slept with me throughout the night and even when I woke up the next morning, I just continue with my work and didn't bother about the magazine at all. Of course the note was gone by then. My clever maid removed the dead insect while I was bathing. Phew!
To think back, I am really blessed that it is only a fly. If it happens to be a lizard or cockroach or any other insect, I would have freaked out!
