Art Fair Day More than half the class were involved in this Art Fair organised by Family Service Centre and the National Youth Council to help build up the bonds between each family. We planned and prepared so long for this day. The event was successful with the help of people from the Family Service Centre, the DGDD people and us.
It started with each family making a themselves a flag and giving their family a name. We then played many games like blow wind blow. It was nerve-wrecking because everyone is running around and you will get bang easily.
There are a few stations and families are divided into groups to move to each station. Here are the game masters for station three. Marvin- the thorns among the flowers.
For myself, I am in station one, the relay drawing. It is very very fun to see the families running and working together. I just can't stop laughing. I remembered this indian man, when asked to draw somethings to decorate the penguin, he drew a national flag!
At the end of the games, we began drawing greeting cards for the poor elderly in old folk homes. Overall, it was tired but fun. Most importantly, it's meaningful.
